Murphy Terminals
Murphy Energy owns 50% of a natural gas liquids rail terminal named “Seminole Murphy Liquids Terminal” located in northeast Tennessee that provides terminaling and transportation services for Marcellus Shale production. Murphy Energy manages all product purchasing and sales activity to and from the terminal as well as acts as logistics manager for all truck and rail transportation to and from the facility. The facility is connected to the Norfolk Southern Railroad and we currently lease over 85 rail cars to manage the natural gas liquids production in the area.
Connect Transport, our affiliated trucking company, operates tractors and trailers from this facility, providing timely and reliable transportation services to NGL plants in the area.
