Murphy Energy owns 50% of a natural gas liquids rail terminal names “Seminole Murphy Liquids Terminal” located in northeast Tennessee that provides terminaling, transportation and fractionation services to the Marcellus Shale production. Murphy Energy manages all product purchasing and sales activity to and from the terminal as well as acts as logistics manager for all truck and rail transportation to and from the facility. The facility is connected to the Norfolk Southern Railroad and we currently lease over 70 rail cars to manage the natural gas liquids production in the area.
